This regional workshop which was held in Hurghada (Egypt) in September, 2002 was supported by regional and international organizations that are concerned with that work in the Near East. The key objectives of the workshop have been to enhance professional networking and information exchange relavent to environmentally friendly fishery and aquaculture practices.
