One of the photos show a group of fishermen who are handling their catch of anchovies which was caught in the sea and then after pulled close to the shore using special gillnets. The caught anchovies are sun-dried and marketed as dried anchovies where the price of the 4-kg dried anchovies ranges from 10 to 20 US$. As shown in a second photo, the anchovies sun-drying is a family activity and several families may join in a fish drying operation. The photo with the truck shows the exports of dried anchovies to the United Arab Emirates. In general, dried anchovies could be utilized for human consumption, used as organic fertilizers, or used in animal feed.<\/span><\/h1>\n
