This lecture was delivered in the Fish Culture Development training course which started on April 2014. This course is organized by the Egyptian International Centre for Agriculture \u201cEICA\u201d and supported by Japan International Cooperation Agency \u201cJICA\u201d. The course hosts 16 African trainees from 11 African countries.<\/span><\/h1>\n

The lecture focused on issues related to the handling of live fish starting from stocking till harvesting passing by sampling. The lecture also addressed key aquaculture practices such as grading, marking, anesthesia, hatchery operation, and transportation. Highlighting and analyzing the stress associated with various practices as well as the mitigation measures to reduce such stress.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/h1>\n
