The photo shows fish cleaning carried out on fish landing site in Gabon. Traditionally, the cleaning of fish is done on each landing site where the job is always done by women. The work is well organized and fish is either processed for sale or upon the request of customers. The fish wastes are discarded daily. However, there are some ongoing initiatives to utilize such wastes in other systems such as aquaculture.<\/span><\/h1>\n
