The inserted photos show some of the recent developments which have taken place at the fish harbor of Karachi, Pakistan. The developments included the lining of traditional fishing boats (e.g. Hora) with fiberglass and providing necessary protection against oil and grease. In addition to the installation of awning, overhead tank & wash basin, icing facility, etc. which were completed according to international standards.<\/p>\n

The training has been an important component of the mentioned development through which crews were trained on the proper handling of marine food. In the same trend, required facilities and equipment were provided for proper landing and auctioning of fish in the fish market.<\/p>\n
