In fact, the Greek called the town Latopolis\nafter the Nile perch (<em>Lates niloticus<\/em>). The species revered as it seems\nto be the embodiment of the goddess Neith and buried in extensive cemeteries.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Museum photo credit: Marx Perfecto C.
