These animals are capable to avoid most harvesting gears especially while digging their tunnels in the dykes as well as their ability to move out of water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trapping has been used to reduce the crayfish population with some success. Also, drain-drying would be able to help in controlling their biomass.
