The three photos a, b and c show the followings:<\/span><\/p>\n

a) small white ‘hapa’ bag (0.45mm mesh) for first-nursery rearing of small juveniles directly from hatchery<\/span><\/p>\n

b) large white bag-net (1.0mm mesh) for second nursery of juveniles (after first nursery in a hapa or outdoor tank)<\/span><\/p>\n

c) pen (fenced area) for larger juveniles. This shows an experiment on the growth of wild-caught sandfish stocked at different densities and on different substrates in a pond<\/span><\/p>\n
