The drying is done on wooden structures, wire or robes. During summer, fish drying may require 3-4 days while a longer period (a week or more) may be required in the fall. Nothing is added to fish during the drying process. The second photo which is taken in the fisherman camp at Bentio shows fish on the ground for refreshing only and not drying. The common dried fish species is Nauk (local name); <em>Heterotis<\/em> <em>niloticus<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>We decided not to watermark the photos in order not to upset its clarity.
