This project has been developed by a group of trainees who participated during 2012 in the Warm Water Fish Production training course which is hosted by the Egyptian International Centre for Agriculture (EICA) in partnership with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The proposed location of this project is Mparambo, Burundi. The project\u00a0components include the its , chosen species (Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niliticus) and African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) production technology and the design and layout of the project. The cost (fixed and operation), and estimated revenue are addressed. The marketing of hatchery fingerlings and promotion strategy are included. The project document addressed the possible environmental impact assessment and mitigation measures. The sustainability of the project has been also addressed.\u00a0The document includes supporting diagrams. This project is one of more group projects which have been supervised by Dr. Abdel Rahman El Gamal.<\/p>\n
