This species is among reef dwellers. The larger fish\u00a0specimen shown in the photo is a female.\u00a0The clown anemone fish are monogamous\u00a0as a brooder mates with the same spouse except in case of accidental missing.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The second photo exhibits the parental care whereas a male fish \u2013as usual- takes care about eggs during the incubation period till hatching that takes place after about 7 days from the spawning and fertilization at 28 C. The last photo shows the immediate pre-hatching phase. It is advised to move the embryos during this phase into the hatching tank to protect the hatchlings against the possible predation by parent brooders.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>We decided not to watermark the photos in order not to upset its clarity.
