The photo shows the nursing tanks for the Barramundi or Sea bass (Lates calcarifer<\/em>). This facility along with a sea bass hatchery are located in the Coastal Aquaculture Development\u00a0 and Research\u00a0 Center, Surat thani. Nursed sea bass fingerlings are either sold to farmers or released to the nature in a stock enhancement program.<\/span><\/p>\n
