The continental shelves cover almost 228000 sq miles with abundant resources. Marine fisheries are distinguished into two types. These are Inshore and Offshore fisheries. Inshore fisheries\u00a0 &#8211; Shore line to 5 nautical miles in northern areas\u00a0\u00a0 and 10 nautical\u00a0\u00a0 miles in the southern area Department of Fishery &#8220;DOF&#8221; allowed to fishing vessels \u00a0less than 30 feet\u2019s (12 HP) Offshore fisheries\u00a0 &#8211; Outer limit of Inshore fishing zone to EEZ, DOF \u00a0allowed to \u00a0fishing vessels more than 30 feet\u2019s (above\u00a012 HP).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:\u00a0<\/strong>We decided not to watermark the photos in order not to upset its clarity.
