There is a growing interest in the commercial farming of meagre especially in the Dibah Triangle Zone in Egypt. This area is located between Damietta and Port Said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The growing interest in meagre farming matches the high demand on this species whether for local market or for export. The species characteristics especially its meat quality (tasty flesh with no bones), and high growth rate support the interest in farming meagre. Moreover, the possibility of farming meagre in wide range of salinity is considered an important factor to be considered.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The farming of meagre depends on collected fry\/juveniles from the natural fishery resources along the Nile delta by the Mediterranean coast.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The video presented the feeding process in a meagre fish pond. In the present, trash fish and small shrimp are the principal feed in meagre fish ponds.
