The two photos show the process of fish stocking in Chandil reservoir of Jharkhand State. In order to boost to fish production, the state government has decided to support a program for releasing fingerlings in the reservoir. The government granted the co-operative society formed by the displaced villagers \u201cChandil Bandh Visthapit Swalambi Sahkari Samiti Ltd\u201d, the rights to use the reservoir for fishing purposes. In line with that, the National Fisheries Development Board has been providing all necessary assistance to undertake fish culture in Chandil.<\/span><\/p>\n
