In this system, aerators are used with aeration intensity that depends on the intensification level (ranges from 2-12 horse power\/hectar).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The stocking densities used are highly variable and are in the range of 4 to 15 fish\/m<sup>2<\/sup> achieving fish production in the range of 20 to 50 tons\/ ha\/ year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">In this system is very important to monitor the levels of ammonia, pH, temperature and dissolved oxygen.
