This photo shows a cute specimen of blenny found in the Red Sea waters. Regardless the accurate taxonomy of blennies, they share some characteristics including their small size, large eyes and mouths. Their blunt heads often possess elaborate whisker-like structures called cirri. These tropical and benthic fish try to hide in holes, burrow in sandy substrates or inhabit crevices in reefs, or even empty mollusk shells.<\/span><\/p>\n
