This project has been developed by a group of trainees who participated during 2012 in the Warm Water Fish Production training course which is hosted by the Egyptian International Centre for Agriculture (EICA) in partnership with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The proposed location of this project is Kaziba village, Sud-Kivu district, Democratic Republic of Congo. The project\u00a0components include the rationality of the project as well as the chosen species (Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus), and other technical and economic components. The document includes a supporting diagram for the project layout. This project which is a part of the training program is supervised by Dr. Abdel Rahman El Gamal.<\/p>\n
