Two species of janitor fish (<\/span><i style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;\">Pterygoplichthys pardalis <\/i><span style=\"line-height: 18px;\">and<\/span><i style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;\"> Pterygoplichthys disjuntivus<\/i><span style=\"line-height: 18px;\"> ) which initially thrive in the lake due to escapement from ponds had an impact on the environment which favored their establishment.
