The photo shows the end product of pressed feed that is locally made on fish farm and in which meat grinder is used in pressing the feed ingredients. As expected, the diameter of produced feed will depend on the diameter of dye used. Also, the water stability for such feed is expected to be low and some management approaches could be followed to address this problem; including frequent feeding and use of feeding trays which could be inspected periodically to determine the mode of feed consumption and hence avoid feed loss.
