Establishing of a semi-intensive all-male tilapia farm in Madagascar (in French)

This project has been developed by a group of trainees who participated during 2010 in the Warm Water Fish Production training course which is hosted by the Egyptian International Centre for Agriculture (EICA) in partnership with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The project is proposed for Moramanga region (Madagascar). The project components include the rationality of the project, and the chosen species which is Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The technical aspects of the project were addressed including water sources, management system, and farm infrastructure. The production cost and so the revenue have been included. This project is a part of the training program and group projects are supervised by Dr. Abdel Rahman El Gamal.
