This photo is taken from a typical cage farm in Greece for European seabass (Dicentrarchus labrax) and gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata). The cages are installed in depths of more than 30 m. Each cage has a perimeter of 60 meters. The net can go up to 10 meters depth. Every cage can host a biomass of 56 tonnes of fish.
