The photos were taken during a fish fair event in Venezuela in which farmed fish are sold at affordable prices. The particular photos show the students in the Agricultural Technical School Guaraons who get involved in fish sale and marketing during the fair as a part of their food security and fish farming program. The fish specimens which are processed are cachamoto which is a sterile hybrid cachama (Colossoma macropomum) with morocoto (Piaractus brachypomus). These are native species to Venezuela and provide the bulk of aquaculture production.
