Even though the written text is in Arabic, the activities as shown in the video are clear and self-explained. The location of this project is in the desert whereas the underground water is the water source of the project. Underground water with 26 g/l salinity is the only water source. Fish species cultured are European seabass (Dicentrachus labrax) and gilthead seabream (Sparus aurata). The average fish production is about 20 kg/m3. In the present, the water discharged from the fish farm is used -on experimental basis- for farming three salt-tolerant plant crops that are namely salicornia, atriblex and sueda.
