Embryonic development of tilapia (a female incubating freshly fertilized eggs) (green eggs)

The photo shows a female of Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus while incubating freshly fertilized eggs. The color of incubated eggs indicates the early age of embryos which could be hours or 1-2 days depending on water temperature. The pigmentation of embryos will follow this stage. Sometimes freshly fertilized eggs are called green eggs.

Note: We decided not to watermark the photos in order not to upset its clarity. However, we trust you will notify us if you wish to use a picture or more. This will be appreciated.
